Registration Timeline
The registration timeline has been established to allow the optimal amount of time, for anyone who is interested in playing, to register. Keeping very close attention to dates and production cycles, the registration timeline includes:
-
Open Registration
-
Closed Registration

Late Registration

Season Start
Open registration is a period of time, usually five to six weeks, in which people can register to play kickball online. The five to six week time period allows for your marketing and advertising efforts to take effect. It also allows for people time to form teams, arrange schedules, and make adjustments as necessary.
Registration is closed approximately seven to eight days prior to the start of the season, depending on a market’s location. This timeframe allows time for shirt ordering, printing, sorting and delivery to take place before the season begins.
Late Registration starts directly after the regular registration time period. In order to transition to the late registration period from the regular registration period, Market Directors must manually make the switch in Webbuzz. They must add the applicable late fees of $7 to $10, adjust the registration closing date, and display the “Late Fees Now Apply” message. The new registration close date should be set to the day before the first game. This is done to maximize the number of potential registrants and for timing with t-shirt orders (discussed later).
Approximately one week after registration closes (depends on individual market), you will be holding your first game. There are a variety of things that need to be addressed before the first game starts (discussed later).
