Registration Capacity

Once someone has chosen the season in which they would like to participate, they must next decide on the capacity in which they would like to register. Each capacity is different in nature. There are three different capacities:

Captain
Invitee
Free Agent (individual player)

Anyone who chooses to register as a Captain actually creates a new team within their league. The Captain will have several additional steps in their registration process such as choosing a team name, motto and t-shirt color. A Captain will also create a specific invite code that is given to friends that they wish to have play on their team.

Individuals who are given invite codes from a Captain are called Invitees. During the registration process, Invitees will be asked to enter their team’s invite code. This will automatically place them on their desired team.

Free Agents are players who would like to participate in the GO Kickball season, but are neither part of a predetermined team nor desire to start their own team. Once the registration process is completed, Free Agents will be placed on teams within their leagues that have available space. Free Agents wishing to play on the same team together have two options: they can either create a new team during registration with all their friends, and the team will be merged with another after registration closes, or send an email to their respective GO Kickball market. They can do that via the ‘Contact GO Kickball’ form on the GO Kickball web site, and accommodations for their Same Team Request will be made.
