Communications with Players, Corporate, and Sponsors

League Communications

League communications are especially important, since the information that you send to your leagues is pertinent to each of the players within those leagues.  League communications will occur throughout the season and includes an email schedule, which contains:

  • Registration Emails

  • Season Start Emails

  • Events and Party Emails

  • Weather Update Emails

  • Season Finale Emails

Each of these emails serves a specific purpose and is designed to enhance the player’s experience by keeping them informed and up to date.  To further enhance the player’s experience, Market Directors may choose to send these emails formatted as a Campaigner email (discussed in 6.2 Using Campaigner).

Player and Team Concerns

Throughout the season, local players and teams may have some concerns that need to be addressed.  When this happens, the Market Director will be contacted through their GO Kickball email account and will be expected to respond appropriately.

Most player and team concerns will occur before the season begins.  They will be related primarily to the registration process, team assignments, etc.  These concerns will be expressed via email and should be addressed appropriately.  Should there be an unusual request that lies outside the Market Director’s knowledge base, the Market Director may always contact the GO Kickball MSC contact for any assistance or clarification.

GO Kickball Market Support Center

GO Kickball views the working relationship between you, the Market Director, and GKB MSC as a partnership and relationship. We are here to help you be successful. If you are successful we are successful.

GO Kickball’s MSC is in regular communications with Market Directors.  The purpose of the communication differs throughout the year.  Emails, phone calls, and, in some cases; face-to-face visits may be ways that corporate communications occur.  Some of the reasons for communicating with the GO Kickball MSC may be:

  • Training and Coaching

  • Information Dissemination

  • Scheduling and Planning

  • Pre and Post Season Briefing

  • Market Growth and Development

  • Market Operator Support

  • Financials – Expenses and Payouts

An open door policy exists between GO Kickball and Market Directors.  Should a question or concern ever arise, Market Directors are encouraged and welcomed to contact our MSC where they will be appropriately addressed. Please do not hesitate to contact us about anything. If we do not know what’s going on then we cannot help you.

Sponsors and League Bars

The communications involved with sponsors and League Bars are not just between them and Market Directors; the communications are expanded to include both corporate and league communications.  Once a League Bar or sponsor has been established, their logos, web addresses and contact information need to be communicated to corporate, so that the promised advertising can take place.  Details about the League Bar must be articulated clearly, so much so, that it becomes common knowledge amongst the players.  This ensures that the agreements with the sponsors and League Bars are upheld and the customer experience is enhanced. When sending emails to the league it’s a good practice to include the league bar drink and food specials.
