Cleaning and Care of Equipment
GO Kickball strives to provide a quality product in all phases, from registration, to the on-field game experience, to the league bar, and everything in between. A big part of of this is maintaining the quality of your equipment.
After each season, please take an inventory of all your eqiupment bags. Check for damaged bases, broken cones, missing pitchers mounds, or kickballs that need replacing.
When putting equipment into storage between seasons, be sure to deflate your kickballs completely to help preserve them for future use. Inflated kickballs that are stored with bases stacked on top of them will often lose their shape and be ruined for the next season.
Bases should be cleaned using a hose, soap, and scrubbed, so they look fresh the next season. Any bases with holes or tears should be replaced. You may want to consider banning cleats in your market, as this helps prevent damage to bases, and keeps the competitive level of your leagues from getting out of control as well.
When submitting orders to corporate for new equipment, plan ahead to project what you'll need, and it's always best practice to submit an order for new equipment as early in advance as possible.
